The Context Sensitivity of International Entrepreneurial Orientation and the Role of Process and Product Innovation Capabilities

Drawing on a contingency perspective of the resource-based view firm, we test thesis that relationship between international entrepreneurial orientation (IEO) and performance export-manufacturing firms is context-sensitive contingent innovation capabilities. Using time-lagged survey data from 369 Bangladeshi in least developed country (LDC) as an extreme empirical context, predict process product capabilities are essential to IEO among firms. We find effect not positive; however, becomes positive when moderated by International LDC succeed they can better align IEO-driven efforts with these Our study advances knowledge context sensitivity embellishes theory IEO.
